THIRD CULTURE KIDS.

It’s 1984 in Taipei, Taiwan, a little island that is on the cusp of changing the world of computers. My friends & I are listening to Duran Duran on our Walkmen and printing out poems on dot matrix. On Friday nights, we are smoking Long Lifes in the alleys by the President Hotel before we drink beers at the Inn Place and go dancing at Buffalo Town. We are all from anywhere but here, but we can cuss in six languages. Being almost 15 is fun in the Wild East.
